George Nawar has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his career achievements.

As Director of Engineering with Telesat, as well as throughout his brilliant career, Mr. Nawar has consistently displayed the vision, thoroughness and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Previously in charge of international consulting services, he now manages Telesat's engineering: advanced systems engineering, research and development, space segment design, traffic planning, network engineering, civil engineering and installation services.

During his collegiate career, Mr. Nawar earned a Bachelor's degree from McGill University, as well as a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa. He is a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario.

In spite of a busy schedule, Mr. Nawar enjoys social activities, international vacations, physical exercise, classical music, swimming, and action-packed novels.
