BILINGA, QLD, AUSTRALIA, August 4, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Howard Kenneth Veal A.M. has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his incredible work in the Aviation Industry. As CEO and Managing Director of Air Gold Coast Holdings Pty. Ltd., as well as throughout his brilliant 40 years in the business, Mr. Veal has consistently demonstrated the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Originally established in 1968, Air Gold Coast is the longest serving general aviation operator at Gold Coast Airport. They specialize in international flight training and servicing high end corporations as well as in providing aircraft maintenance services. Air Gold Coast Holdings holds two developing aviation companies; Air Gold Coast Pty. Ltd., which is a flying training and light aircraft maintenance provider and Professional Jet Aviation Pty. Ltd., which provides both light and Corporate Jet Charter.
Air Gold Coast began their flight school in 2001 due to the realization of a need for aviation education services on the Gold Coast which offered the same emphasis on reliable and efficient service. They have since built up their reputation for producing high quality private and commercial pilots in a relaxed, friendly but professional environment.
Howard is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as handling business development, finances and overseeing flying operations. He attributes his success to his interaction with a truly supportive mother. She had the ability to instill confidence, demonstrate persistence and develop focus.
Mr. Veal got his start in the industry as an aircraft apprenticeship at age 16 with RAAF. Commissioned as RAAF Officer General Duties, Howard flew as Navigator and Pilot, and completed Senior Officer Training and recruiting. After leaving the Air Force, he worked in flight training with airline cadets from many Asian airlines, including Qantas, British Airways and South African Airways. Howard also flew freight charter, charter and training aircraft for some years before moving into Corporate Jets.
Professional Jet Aviation was established from scratch primarily as an aircraft management company. Positive but slow, Howard joined with a business partner in 2009 and combined company and resources with Air Gold Coast Group. Based on the Gold Coast Airport just south of Brisbane Australia, they are quite progressive and hold Air Operators Certificates for Training as well as for Australian Domestic Charter and International Charter.
During his educational career, he earned an Advanced Diploma in Aviation from the Australian Air Force. Mr. Veal is a proud member of the Order of Australia who was awarded the "Member of the Order of Australia" AM some years ago for "flight operations" while a junior officer in the Royal Australian Air Force. Quite active for his age, Howard rides jet skis and plays indoor cricket. He was a talented basketball player and footballer in the past, and he still runs on the beach for fun.
