Skyservice Completes Deployment of SITA's Passenger Management Solution
Skyservice Airlines and SITA, the aviation IT specialists, today announced the completion of the worldwide deployment of a fully-integrated automated passenger management system. The Canadian charter airline has also implemented SITA's Advance Passenger Information Quick Query (APIS AQQ) solution.
ATLANTA, GA, April 04, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Skyservice Airlines and SITA, the aviation IT specialists, today announced the completion of the worldwide deployment of a fully-integrated automated passenger management system. The Canadian charter airline has also implemented SITA's Advance Passenger Information Quick Query (APIS AQQ) solution.
The AQQ service allows the Department of Homeland Security to take control of vetting passenger names against the government's watch list, prior to departure of aircraft, and then automatically deliver authorization to airlines to issue, or not issue, boarding passes as each passenger checks in.
The passenger management system implemented for Skyservice, based on SITA's Horizon portfolio, comprises reservations, departure control services and a state-of-the art global managed infrastructure which includes WAN connectivity, LAN, and desktop equipment.
