Robert Blevins Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Aviation Quality
Mr. Blevins made the President's List of Distinguished Part-Time Students for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement.
SHAWNEE, OK, January 24, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert Blevins, Lead Procurement Quality, Tool Control, Hazmat and Government Property Specialist for Boeing Aerospace Operations, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence.
Mr. Blevins has been involved in his field for 20 years and has worked with Boeing for three years as the lead procurement quality, tool control, Hazmat and government property specialist. His expertise is in managing aviation quality, including supplier quality and nondestructive testing. Mr. Blevins' duties as a lead auditor include system maintenance, special processes and products, supplier approvals and certification. As an Inspector III NDT he inspects radiography, dye penetrant, magnetic particles and ultrasonics. Additionally, Mr. Blevins manages all shifts and maintains stocks of aircraft equipment. Boeing Aerospace Operations is a subdivision of the Boeing Company. The company provides aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul technology for military aircrafts.
With his first book published through AuthorHouse, Mr. Blevins attributes his broad success to his desire to provide the best services for Boeing's clients. He notes that he became involved in his profession through a natural progression of opportunities. In 2003, he received his Bachelor of Business Administration, with a Concentration in Quality Management, from Almeda College & University in Atlanta. He is certified by the American Society for Quality and has been awarded various professional and educational honors, including the Thank You Award from The Boeing Company, the Dale Carnegie Breakthrough Award and the Dale Carnegie Human Relations Award. While attending Oklahoma State University, Mr. Blevins made the President's List of Distinguished Part-Time Students for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement. Mr. Blevins has now accepted a position with the FAA, at the Oklahoma City SWMIDO office. His new position is Aviation Safety Inspector (MFG).
