She is responsible for managing the functions of payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable for both airlines and also allocates time to volunteer for The Dream Factory, a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing dreams for children who are diagnosed with a critical or chronic illness.

In 1983, Ms. McKinney earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Union University and an Associate Degree in Programming and Operations from Control Data Institute in 1984. She began her career as a staff accountant in the cotton industry and eventually progressed to her current position after joining Pinnacle in 1998. She aspires to rise to the position of vice president where her leadership and team-building excellence can be utilized on a broader scale.
