COLT INTERNATIONAL FUEL CARD NOW ACCEPTED IN MEXICO
Colt International today revealed a new card design that will expand its acceptance to Mexico.
/Aerospace - Aviation News Articles/ - WEBSTER, TX, January 27, 2008 - Colt International today revealed a new card design that will expand its acceptance to Mexico. Effective March 1, 2008, the fuel authority in Mexico will begin accepting the Colt International card as a form of payment at all ASA supplied airports. Colt customers will no longer need to present a fuel release, rather they will simply present their Colt card to the fuel agent and receive their Colt contracted rate billed directly by Colt International.
Colt will begin distributing the enhanced card to their customers in early February. The new cards feature embossed text capable of being imprinted onto the Mexican authority's fuel tickets. They will also carry additional information making them acceptable to the fueling authority. The new cards will serve as a replacement for the Colt customers' current cards. In addition to Mexico acceptance, the new cards will continue to be accepted throughout Colt's FBO network.
Colt customers benefit by avoiding last minute surcharges, waiting for ASA releases, and pre-arranging fuel, though they continue to have the capability to check fuel prices ahead of their trip and retain their fuel rate assurances.
Says President Malcolm Hawkins, "Our card acceptance in Mexico reflects our outstanding relationships within the Mexican aviation community as well as our strong financial position. Our goal has always been to make our clients' trips simpler and more cost effective. We believe this new program offers a 'one click' method of accomplishing both goals."
